The big sports are coming to Germany

Towards the end of 2021, FRASER worked hand-in-hand with Kouneli Media GmbH to launch and promote the German edition of Sports Illustrated. Such an iconic brand (born back in 1954 in the US) needed to touch the right strings and trigger the right reactions from the local audience, creating enough talkability and buzz to generate momentum.

A series of assets and executions were created, not only to communicate the launch of the first edition of the magazine but also to help them promote other issues, i.e. the one that was all about basketball, in the context of the European Basketball Championships 2022. From stunts in airports to pre-roll ads, going through interactive print ads, ASMR films, and social media content, we put the brand under the spotlight of the press and under the radar of the local fans, bringing to life all the feelings and emotions that sports trigger. Memorable moments that are worth keeping and sharing, were portrayed and depicted in the most relevant ways.
